<t>I asked the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) about the role English Heritage may have in national curriculum history and whether English Heritage were “overseers and writers,” the statement made on this thread. <br/> <br/> QCA say that English Heritage are not the overseers or wr...

<r>This is disappointing, Curnow. Saying just “the Encyclopedia Britannica” is not giving an adequate source. It is like saying “It’s in a book in the library.” <br/> <br/> There are various editions of that encyclopedia and different volumes. If I count right, fifteen editions and 299 vol...

<r><br/> The schools history curriculum for what the Govt. loosely terms as England is determined by English Heritage<br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> I think not. I rather think the responsibility for the curriculum, including history, in England lies with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority<br/> <br...

(2) Where did EB get the information from?

<t>No, I’m just asking questions. It’s a normal way of finding things out. <br/> <br/> Frankly, I think they are obvious questions that would occur to anyone involved in or interested in everyday life in Cornwall, especially people who, with their families, live and work here and therefore might...

<t>People are clearly not denied their Cornish language. The word is inappropriate. <br/> <br/> I think my questions are legitimate and I should be interested in specific answers rather than generalisations. I think, for example, it is entirely reasonable to ask whether nationalists see an eventual ...

<t>No one denies anyone the Cornish language. <br/> <br/> Anyone can learn Cornish if they wish.<br/> <br/> Of course, asking people to hand over their money to pay for or subsidise one’s learning and the language’s use is another question. <br/> <br/> I think one should be explicit about what e...
