Even though Kernow's soveriegn is the Duke of Cornwall and not the monarch itself, surely we are still ruled by the Queen as she is the Monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which Kernow is a nation of.

Yes i do, all very good memories and i remember when the bus station near the railway station acually looked like a bus station. I always had a thrill when seeing St.Michaels Mount by train or car as i knew i was nearly at home again.

As the state of play in the Cornish "national " side goes at the moment, no it would never happen. For such a thing to happen, we would have to apply to the IRB to be accepted as a rugby nation then to participate in tier 3 of the European Nations Cup. It has been suggested in the past that Cornwall, Brittany, Isle of Man, Eire, Scotland and Wales all play each other in an amateur rugby competition every year, perhaps the same could be done for Association Football. This is not an unrealistic notion, even if both were every two or four year events.

Realistically the Cornish "National" rugby team have more chance of being recognised and playing internationals. It has been suggested in the past that Cornwall should apply for the European Nations Cup (sometimes referred to as Six Nations B) which is tier 2 and 3 for other European rugby nations. ...
