Re: Why has Loic Rich left MK

I thought you were referring to his spell as an MEP from 2004-2009, where he was elected as UKIP, but left to form Vanitas... sorry Veritas

Re: Maga under threat

If Cornwall alone is to pay for Cornish language and culture in the future, then by consequence residents of Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Cornwall should not be obliged to contribute to the promotion of the native language of neighbouring England. As in: English lessons in schools. Or Eng...

Killjoy-Sulk certainly didn't resign his seat! He set up his own party because UKIP didn't want him as leader.

Re: "Cornwall needs less democracy"

I wouldn't say that Cornwall is under represented at all - it definitely could be reduced in size. Many councils across the country are far too bloated. We need to make these councils, and councillors, more accountable, so that in the future there won't be so many financial scandals! Incidentally, i...

Re: After AV the future of democratic reform for Kernow

AMS is the least worst option for many Tories, as it would give them more representation in Scotland and Northern England. AMS is the only feasible option for reform now.

Re: After AV the future of democratic reform for Kernow

I disagree, I see AMS as the only feasible way forward now. STV (and AV+) are tainted by their association by AV in the minds of the people.

Re: Cornwall needs an Alex Salmond

He still doesn't pay a TV licence and they don't come near him. I don't pay either now. Nor do a load of others. The system is afraid of us or else would have acted. Use a vehicle on the public highway without the appropriate licence and you will soon find out if the "system is afraid" or not. I wi...

It is all very well whinging about Sellafield, but the locals in Cumbria actually want it. Cumbria has Celtic links, doesn't it?

Re: Cornwall needs an Alex Salmond

Unlike many on here, Alex Salmond is not anti-English, in fact he supports an English Parliament. He also still says Scotland would be part of the Commonwealth too. He attacks the Westminster politicians, not the English.

Re: CYMRU: PROTEST TO EQUALITY COMMISSIONER OVER HOTEL ISSUE

Bi-lingual street signs are going up all over Cornwall, which remains predominantly English speaking, and will remain so for several generations to come. Nonetheless, they are there, they're increasing, and even I have got to the point where I don't care how they're spelt as long as they appear. Th...

Re: Facebook Supports Anti-Cornish Remarks!

You'd never get accepted as part of Wales or Scotland because there are so many people who consider themselves English in Cornwall. Your best option, and only option, is to build up the Cornish national identity as a British identity that is separate to English/Welsh/etc.
