Re: Windsor Saxe Coburg Gotha faces 'armageddon' in Eire

How pathetic. German politicians are invited to D-Day memorials yet a few small minded Irish people still want to kill the Queen when she visits Ireland.

As we're doing polls, UKIP are at 11% in Cornwall, according to a recent poll - MK on 0%.

Re: To AV or not?

Considering the way that the issue of AV and Equal Electorates (combined) Bill was introduced, would voting 'yes' in the referendum be a bit like saying that 'the end justifies the means' and send entirely the wrong message to the politicians? Even moreso within our Cornish Duchy! TGG – For...

C'mon on then, come up with one thing I've said that is anti-Cornish. I have criticised things people have said, because I disagree with many things you lot have said because you give of the perception that your idea of Cornwall and Cornishness is built around a hatred of England and Englishness.

Re: Should Cornwall/Kernow become the Seventh Nation for the

Yes, Cornwall needs an organisation (or does it have one already) dedicated to promoting the Cornish national identity through sport. I remember writing about this on a Cornish Facebook group a long time ago.

Re: As we're 'doing' polls...

Marhak, the trolls are here as they are little Englanders or English nationalist types. They hate all things Celtic or are very jealous of it. Like I said they have made fools of themselves and can't stop hoping to redeem themselves. No-one would "employ" such half-wits to make eternal fools of the...

Re: As we're 'doing' polls...

Half Cornish/Scillonian (paternal side); half Scottish (maternal side). I seem to have detailed this before. One paternal ancestor lies in St Levan churchyard and a legend is recorded about his grave. As for birthplace, well, I could hardly scream my protests from the womb, could I? That's where th...

Re: Your ideal Cornwall

"I have manners, but when approached by hoards of loons who struggle with reading comprehension..." hoards ? So these loons are hidden away somewhere ? Obviously they have some value. Or is that hordes of gold ? Hoard "a stock or store of money or valued objects, typically one that is secret or car...

Re: To AV or not?

SNP's commitment to Scottish students - its really struggling to keep that commitment, only today they announced they're looking again at it, and will probably start charging EU students, and rip-off students from the rest of the UK. The situation in Wales is even more risible. They're relying on En...

Re: UKIP No1

Argh, just wrote out a massive response and my computer crashed! Anyway, first of all, I'm glad to see Trevorpen's post - some common sense at last. Regardless of what has happened historically, no-one can seriously argue that Cornwall is subsidising England. Unfortunately if Stephen Richardson is r...
