Whatever happened to Alex Parks?  Now there was a talent but one that just seems to have faded away.  Hope I'm wrong.

How about Thirteen Senses?
As long as a hundred of us remain alive, we shall never give in to the domination of the English. We fight not for glory, not for wealth nor honours but only and alone for freedom, which no good man surrenders but with his life...

Tanya Courage Trust Benefit Gig – Hall For Cornwall – July 19th 2010

"I'm really excited about the Truro Hall for Cornwall gig, as I haven't played a gig at home in ages. It will be really nice to see some friendly faces. Also I am proud to be able to do a charity gig in Cornwall."

Clive Palmer of Incredible string band who played with lots of folk bands in Cornwall in the 60s including COB

I ve started a separate thread on Queen in Cornwall because although a lot of these bands are great artists Queen went megaglobal and it all started in Truro...

Just discovered this thread! Well, TK, what about the Al Hodge clip....respect!!!

My husband's a guitar player and rated Al as serious contender...a sad loss.

As I've now found this thread I'm adding this information quite simply because some 'readers' may not have seen my post etc about the Brenda Wootton Cd that will now be produced. If ever anyone epitomise Cornish music past, present and now future it is Brenda.

We weren't too sure what to do with the tapes of her 1984 Paris concert with Camborne Town band, but have so much lovely warm response, we are going to make it available. The analog recording has been digitised ( like I know what that means!) but it still requires lots of work, but it will happen.
