I support their right to choose whether they decide to become independent now, or at some point in the future, and their level of "independence".

I feel is up to the people of Scotland

Exactly.
Everyone, Cornish or otherwise, has their own particular part to play. No part is too great or too small; no one is too old or too young to do something.

After all, Cameron (he with the great Highland name, and daughter with very Cornish middle name) made it very clear himself that he's absolutely in favour of self-determination on these matters, whether in the Falklands or elsewhere. I'd hate to think that he and Clegg might be accused of colonialism over the Scots...!!

When, recently, Cameron accused the Argentinians of "colonialism", I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Almost shat myself with laughter when he said that.

Although he does (for once) have a point. It should be up to the islanders (I know he's only saying that because of the oil-fields there, but still...) not the bloody Argentinian government...

I reckon if they get the Falklands back, Argentina should rightfully go back to being under Spanish control just to make sure that everything's being dealt with fairly...

Dick Cole had a nice piece on bbc 5live today comparing what is happening in scotland today and its implications for a future devolved Cornwall, short and succinct. Only marred by Nicky Campbells introduction of Dick as the leader of Melbian Kernow.
