The Cornish Sharks American foootball team has made it into the British Senior League for 2007, there first season in the league.
having played 2 games this year and won both in style we showed the league we can play.
We are looking for new players for the new season , if you want to try the sport come along on the 14th of jan 2007 the teams trials will run till the end of feb.
this year the team was made up of 60% Cornish, 30% Devonish,and 10% Americans.Based in Cornwall.
they came from all sports From,Rugby,football, surfing,judo,skate boarding,Basketball,a good mix of talent.
The Rugby players that played for the team improved in all aspects of there game as did the other sports.
If you want to try then come along and see if you have got what it takes to play the game. if you can pick it up like Andy Dixon did in 6 months then you can go to Las Vegas to play in 2007.
if you arent doing any thing in the summer then come along and play it will keep you fit till you go back to your sport.
we train at Newquay Sports centre from 12'30. till 4'00.
