Have you all seen this pamphlet on the TGG site Cornish Rugby by John Gay: http://www.kernowtgg.co.uk/actpages.html

Just click on the "Cornish Rugby" link in the menu at the side.

Raises some interesting ideas that need to be discussed.

Whats happening with Cornwall and the Celtic League (rugby that is), any news?

If we could wave the magical wand and a Cornish national side was selected... Who would be in it?

Indeed the pamphlet by John Gay was written some 3/4 years ago when there were hopes of arranging a rugby match between Cornwall and Brittany, lets just say that the powers that be in Cornwall dragged their heels over the affair. Rugby has moved on since then.

Not a hope of A Cornish side now as there is to much enthesis put on professional players and outsiders coming into our higher league sides.
Just look at the state of CRFU I call it shameful

The paltry crowd at Camborne said it all 300-400. The CRFU are still burying their heads in the sand as evidenced by their President's recent comments about the Cornish Pirates and Redruth clubs!!!

The future of a (County) side ? Once the feared and respected force in Rugby (after all we started it ) now a laughing stock . If only some eccentric millionaire would back it perhaps then things might improve.
I think those teams that masquerade under the name Cornish should get their priorities right.
