Wiki deletion: Cornwall Commonwealth Games Association.
Wasn't sure where exactly to put this... The Cornwall Portal on Wiki has proposed that the article on the Cornwall Commonwealth Games Association be deleted or at least merged into another article. As much as I would like the CCGA to have a page of its own the article itself is rather sloppy with little to no citations.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W.....ssoc ... sociationI would attempt to improve it but I have no information on the situation.Does anyone know of any source material or references that could be used to salvage the Wiki page?

Wiki seems very keen to dispense with anything related to Cornish peoples' claims to recognition, autonomy and so on. Is the Cornwall Commonwealth Games Association really dead in the water or are Wiki being a bit previous ? The whole of Wiki seems dominated by people quick to dismiss Cornwall. Also, the same applies on You Tube – I find some of the abusive comments directed at some of the Cornwall/Cornish pages hard to believe or understand.
Then get on there and counter it.

I was made aware of this a few days ago and it is being looked into, but it's a difficlut call. Officially, the CCGA does not exist. You have top be a member of the games federation before you can call yourself an association. Not wishing to rub the CGF up the wrong way I removed the website. However the unofficial CCGA are stilll fully together and in waiting.
The fight continues under http://www.campaigncornwall.com The site is blank at present but I can only assure you that things are moving forward, although nothing has been made public as it would not be in the campaign's best interest. It should'nt be too much longer now though
If Wiki take it down, it will have no consequence whatsoever
