I took my son on a trip to Chun Castle a couple of days ago. He is taught at home, and this is for a history project that we are doing.
Whilst there, we noticed that there were a few largish blocks of granite that had had numerous holes drilled in them. Holes that I would not have thought to have been contemporary with the occupation of the fort.
I know, that in the past, drilling competitions were held in mining areas, and the “holey” stones could be explained by such activity, but I would have thought that it is a bit far out for that.
Ask your questions about Cornwall here. Whether it be Where, When, Who, What and Why someone\'s sure to know the answer.
