According to this report, Mrs W-S-C-G may be in for a rough ride when she visits a former occupied territory:

But they are preparing for every eventuality:-

Everyone, Cornish or otherwise, has their own particular part to play. No part is too great or too small; no one is too old or too young to do something.

How pathetic. German politicians are invited to D-Day memorials yet a few small minded Irish people still want to kill the Queen when she visits Ireland.

World War II lasted just 5 years. England's occupation and oppression of Ireland lasted for centuries. They're only going because they know it'll antagonise.

Come to think of it, the Royals go to D-day memorials, too. And they're German.

I am assuming you are an ethnic nationalist then Marhak? I do fear for the non-ethnically Cornish should you ever be in a position of power.

On exactly what do you base your utterly erroneous assumption ? Nor do I wish for a position of power.

Yawn. If I were as narrow minded as you, I'd say that your flag has been used as a symbol for the Kernow Defence League, Cornish Republican Army, etc.

I realise that the initiative for this visit was that of the Irish president but, in my view, it was ill-judged, both in Dublin and in London. A peace process has been worked out and - apart from a mere handful of people - it's working. BUT it has to be given time to bed in fully, so that the past can be laid to rest, and a long history like that cannot be buried and forgotten in such a short time. This visit is happening far too soon. It will only antagonise and threaten the years of hard graft from all sides that has led to a peaceful accord. Ten years from now, maybe, but not now.

Why on earth should I do that? What do you have against members of the Jewish faith? As for "stupid", that's exactly how I regard The Sun-style "silly season" stories like the fictitious groups you cite, and I doubt that I'm alone in that.

I've seen the FB group for Kernow Defence League, so don't try to make out that they are a creation of the press.
