"Did you ever learn Cornish?" would be (KK) A wruss'ta bythkweth dyski Kernewek?

bythkweth is 'ever' in the past. With a negative it means 'never'

Ny wruga vy bythkweth gwelez lyver Kernewek "I never did see a Cornish book"

(or as Bodinar wrote it in 1776, Na rig a vee biscath gwelles lever Cornoack)

"Ever/never" in the future is nevra, "I shall never do that" Nevra ny vynnav gul yndella.

But the main problem with your original sentence is how best to translate "interested" --- suggestions please?

I think translating directly from English is very difficult to do well. Often Cornish will express ideas very differently to English and a literal translation won't make much sense.

Fun seems to me quite an abstract concept that doesn't really ring true as a direct translation in Cornish.
When I was growing up in west Cornwall we didn't usually talk about having fun, the phrase we would use was doing something for 'a laugh'. Perhaps using that idiom would be appropriate.

In love also seems a specifically english idiom perhaps in Cornish we have love or love is with us.

Martesen, neppyth a'n par na: 'Pandr'a gerydh gul rag hwarth?'

'Yma kerensa genev rag an venyn na.' contrast that with 'My a gar an venyn na'

Ok, how does one say "you're welcome" (what one responds with when someone else says "thank you") in Cornish??? I can't find anything anywhere, and I'm sure I'll go crazy if I can't find out. Meur ras! :D
