MAGA training session

Post by kbcl1 » Thu Dec 09, 2010 7:38 pm

If you have ever run a taster session, or would be interested in doing so in the future, MAGA will be running a training session to share ideas, experiences and best practice on Saturday 8th January.

Please let us know if you would like to attend the training by replying to this e-mail. Further information follows below:

Taster Session Training
Part of MAGA’s work is to give a taste of Cornish to people who would like to learn a little of the language without committing to a full course. A number of Cornish speakers have run lessons of this sort on behalf of MAGA, and we are always looking for opportunities to pass on new skills to other Cornish speakers who would like to get more involved.

MAGA is therefore running a training session on Saturday 8th January for people who would like to learn more about teaching taster sessions. It will also be an opportunity for people who have run taster sessions in the past to share their own experiences and best practice.

The training will take place at County Hall on Saturday 8th January from 10am-12.30pm. If you would like to attend, please send an e-mail to cornishlanguage@cornwall.gov.uk or phone 01872 323497 to book your place.
